About me
My name is Yi-Ting Yeh (葉奕廷) from Taiwan, a master student in Language Technologies Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. Now I work with Jeffrey Bigham and Maxine Eskenazi on dialog systems. Previously, I worked with Yun-Nung (Vivian) Chen on various research topics about natural language processing with machine learning such as question answering, natural language generation and dialogue systems.
I received my bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering at National Taiwan University. I was an intern at Yahoo!, and Taiwan AI Labs.

09/2021: Our paper Improving Dialogue State Tracking by Joint Slot Modeling, which was the final project in Neural Networks for NLP (CS 11-747@CMU), is accepted to NLP4ConvAI Workshop in EMNLP 2021.
09/2021: The evaluation paper A Comprehensive Assessment of Dialog Evaluation Metrics is accepted to EANCS workshop in EMNLP 2021.
06/2021: Our paper A Comprehensive Assessment of Dialog Evaluation Metrics is on arXiv and presented in NSF Automatic Evaluation of Dialog Workshop (AED) workshop! (Video).
09/2020: I received the Best Master Thesis Award from The Association for Computational Linguistics and Chinese Language Processing (ACLCLP)!
06/2020: I will join MLT program in Language Technologies Institute at Carnegie Mellon University!
01/2020: I have successfully defensed my master thesis “Toward Accurate and Robust Question Answering Systems”!
